Now I don't usually lead with this, dear reader, but I am a Reader. Of tarot cards. I know, I know -- so middle-age left-leaning gray-hair-don't-care Dansko-clog-wearing white lady of me, right?
Well.
I have read cards since I was a teenager with the classic Rider-Waite-Smith deck. Even as a kid I felt like a conduit, an antenna -- an unwitting receptor for messages/energy that often confused and frightened me. I dabbled cautiously with my deck through my twenties and thirties (mostly about my disastrous love life) and then got more serious in my forties after experiencing some remarkable, life-altering not-coincidences. I have collected many decks, tarot is now a daily practice in my fifties, and I read regularly for friends and friends-of-friends and friends-of-friends-of-friends.
Let's just say the deck -- 78 cards that represent the arc of human experience -- allows me to channel information/energy/intuition and offer insight into a situation.*
I read in the evenings and on weekends. Most readings take 30-45 minutes and cost $50, but if you can't afford this, it's pay what you can. Also happy to barter! If you'd like to book a reading, contact me at [email protected]
*The Big Disclaimer: a tarot reading does not take the place of professional legal, medical, mental health, or financial advice, and for heaven's sake do not ask me about the lottery or your Tinder hook-up.
