Fat Ass Cancer Bitch is Christine's performance brand, gifted to her by an angry neighbor in 2006.
​In a nutshell: Christine had breast cancer in 2001 and got better. Five years later, her neighbor had a beautiful Great Dane who loved to poop in Christine's yard, and Christine would deliver these huge poops to her neighbor's driveway, where one day her neighbor was waiting for her and called her a fat ass cancer bitch. Christine decided she liked this much better than "survivor." The neighbor apologized three years later and they became good friends.
Every year, Christine presents an 90-minute one-woman show of new work, as well as a holiday-themed set in December at venues all over Cape Cod. In 2026, she will present her 15th annual show.
